Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology) Full time The Web Developer is responsible for working closely with the Managing Directors and Senior Campaign Manager to ensure the development and support of best in class digital assets such as website creation, web development, and digital producing content for key clients and digital management that demonstrates smart, creative thinking and a strong commitment to driving business results.
You will be tasked with developing websites and turning them into the final product for our clients, including our own branded websites.
This means following the team's brief, and it is the responsibility of the Web Developer to work from wireframes, understand audiences and best user experience adaptations, including copy content, using our systems and direction from your team colleagues to develop and deploy websites on time and beautifully designed.
You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate client visions into engaging, functional, and high-performing digital experiences.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesExperience in a full stack environment.Solid experience as a Python Developer with skills in API Development.Solid experience as a PHP developer with skills in API Development and frameworks.Experience with Adobe Suite of products such as After Effects is essential but not required as we will help to develop you with training in this role to strengthen your skills.Experience with website development.Website HTML coding and development.Assisting the web development partner or subcontractor with all aspects of website and application design.Assisting with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.Brainstorming new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.Collaborating with developer partners to implement new web features.Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends.Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with a client's website.Converting video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web.Digital Producing to Support WebsitesProactive ideas generation, contributes to ideas.User experience thinking.Helping all staff to understand & integrate web development into existing PR & content projects.Liaising with clients through the account manager or director regarding digital website solutions and digital production campaigns, creative projects, and solutions.Liaises with the Account Service team on timelines, project tasks, and updates in a clear, timely manner ensuring a positive working relationship.Attends and contributes to internal and external WIP meetings as required.Assembling raw assets, copy and transferring or uploading to a computer.Working closely with accounts teams to present a final product that matches his or her vision.General ResponsibilitiesHigh levels of communication - both presentation, verbal, and written skills.Impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise.A passion for digital media, including web development, social media, and campaign marketing.Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation.Commercially aware and business savvy.Solid computer prowess and project management skills.Outstanding organization with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios.Service focused and sensitive to confidential information.RequirementsExperience in a full stack environment.Solid experience as a Python Developer with skills in API Development.Solid experience as a PHP developer with skills in API Development and frameworks.Solid experience as a ReactJS, React Native, Vue, Bootstrap, Materialize, or UIKit developer.Solid experience with AWS products including core services and Athena/Glue and Microsoft 365.Experience in tackling scalability and performance challenges.Cloud services: Microsoft Entra, Azure platform for user and services management.Control version GIT/GITHUB.Solid understanding of web design and development principles.Good planning, analytical, and decision-making skills.Producing efficient computer codes based on requirements.Testing and deploying programs and applications.Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.A portfolio of web design and projects you've worked on.Critical-thinking skills.Flexibility in the workplace.In-depth knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools.Goal-orientated and deadline-driven.Salary: Full-Time fixed salary of $74,000 p.a.
plus Super 11.5%.
