By integrating state-of-the-art solar, battery and thermal energy assets, we deliver clean energy solutions that are affordable, reliable and sustainable.The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our North Sydney team and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and operational success.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting while driving decision-making through data-driven insights and business partnering.Key responsibilities include:Management Reporting: Deliver high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual management and board reports that provide actionable insights into the company's financial and operational performance.FP&A Framework Development: Design and implement/improve the FP&A framework across the group to enable streamlined analysis, insightful information flow, and data-supported decision-making aligned with the group strategy.Cashflow Management: Maintain and refine weekly cashflow forecasting and cash management processes to ensure liquidity and financial stability.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational needs.Funding Compliance: Prepare and report on funding compliance requirements, as required.Capital Raising Support: Assist in the preparation of materials for equity and debt raising initiatives, as required.Financial Analysis: Dive deep into financial data to uncover the "story behind the numbers," delivering compelling insights and commercial analysis that empower stakeholders.Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide decision support, facilitate data-driven discussions, and drive financial accountability across the business.Ad-Hoc Analysis & Projects: Provide advanced financial analysis and lead projects that support strategic decision-making.Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies in financial operations, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.Your BackgroundYou will bring the following:Big 4 accounting firm background, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic reporting.8+ years of financial analysis and reporting experience, ideally with multi-entity and group-level reporting.Hands-on experience with Xero and/or Netsuite is a strong advantage.Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in working with complex financial models and producing quality and insightful analytics.A track record of delivering actionable insights through clear and concise reporting.Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commercial experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to influence business decisions.Experience in the renewable energy or broader energy sector.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced SME environment.RequiredMust have full Australian work rightsWhy CleanPeak Energy?We are growing fast.
