The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians.

This is for 2 Ongoing Health Services Business Partner Roles About the role: The Finance Business Partner (Health Sector) role is an external facing role responsible for supporting the understanding and delivery of the department's strategic financial investment in Victoria's health system, health service financial sustainability, and being the interface between the Department of Health and health services.
Against the context of increased financial sustainability challenges for Victoria's health services, this position is part of a specialist branch that coordinates the financial performance of health services.
The Finance Business Partner – Health Sector role is responsible for analysing the funding adequacy for investment decisions and understanding the key drivers across Victorian health services.
This role leads the development of advice on overall public health services financial sustainability to inform Hospitals Victoria.
The role reports to the Manager, Health Service Financial Performance and works alongside other business partners in supporting public health services and hospitals.
The role will also require close working relationships with internal stakeholders across the Department and Victorian health sector to ensure clear reporting, messaging to government, and ensuring tight timelines are adhered to.
