We seek innovative minds to integrate IT, engineering, and science into practical solutions for complex, high-risk challenges.Job DescriptionOur Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) is a complex system of systems used to plan, monitor and conduct military campaigns, operations, joint exercises and other activities to meet Australia's national objectives.We seek a Service Desk Analyst to join our team, which maintains multi-user computer systems and assists end users in person and through technology.Our Bungendore-based team (near Canberra) supports a group that ensures critical information reaches the right people at the right time, directly impacting ground operations.This project requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen with a current NV-2 level security clearance.ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Create and manage administrator and service accounts and maintain clear system documentation.Software Installation: Deploy system-wide software.Storage Management: Manage and optimise storage space.Server Maintenance: Support and maintain server platforms and related applications.Documentation: Create technical documentation, including plans, procedures, and manuals.Liaison: Facilitate communication between teams and manage delivery and escalation processes.Project Management: Plan, monitor, and report on team activities.Work ConditionsThis position is based 100% on-site.Core hours: Three rolling shifts between 0600-1800hrs.Occasional on-call and weekend work.QualificationsExperience in server, desktop, and Active Directory administration in a medium-to-large scale environment.Proficiency in multi-domain/Active Directory and TCP/IP networks.Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Networking, Storage, and Backup.Preferred QualificationsExperience with server hardware, VCE vBlock, NetApp, EMC, and Cisco hardware.Familiarity with SCCM, SCOM, SharePoint, EMC Networker, Citrix VDI, and McAfee products.ITIL Foundation v3 certification.Expertise in VMware management suite and SharePoint.What You'll LoveThis is an essential role for us, and you can significantly impact your team, stakeholders, and the business as a result.The company's diverse employees support vital missions for government and commercial customers.
