Clinical Nurse Consultant Subject Matter Expert

Clinical Nurse Consultant Subject Matter Expert (SME), Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS)Digital Metro North (DMN) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant Subject Matter Expert to provide specialised project management skills and services to support the implementation of the state-wide Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS).
This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with the DMN support team and CVIS implementation sites to embed processes and support system enhancements.
Whilst not mandatory, previous experience in clinical informatics, cardiology, medical imaging, catheterisation laboratory and/or project management will be well regarded.
This position will also require the successful candidate to travel and work across Queensland and facilities/directorates implementing the Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS) Enterprise Program.
Due to this travel, the person we are looking for must hold a current 'C' class licence.
Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health.
It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North.
In meeting this strategy, significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North.
Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the Role Reporting directly to the Stream Lead, CVIS, DHBS, this role has a professional reporting line to the Director of Nursing, CNMIO and will work directly with staff across the state to implement the CVIS.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse.
Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of employment.The incumbent is required to operate a motor vehicle and as such, a current 'C' class licence must be provided.The incumbent may be required to participate in the 24/7 pro-rata On-Call Roster for Digital Metro North.This role has no financial and human resource delegations and is a fixed term, temporary part time role (48 hours per fortnight).Based in Fortitude Valley, please note there may be a requirement to work at other facilities located across Metro North Health.Key knowledge and experience The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
