Our network provides global growth opportunities, with a local anchor.Due to the continued growth of our firm, we have a newly created role for a full-time Tax Consultant to join our team in Brisbane CBD.About the role:As a Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in providing tax-related advice, analysis, and planning services to individuals and businesses.
You will also play a crucial role in helping clients optimise their tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and minimising tax liabilities.
You will work with the Partner and team in servicing existing client relationships to drive loyalty and retention.
This role could see you gaining experience in Transfer Pricing.You will have the opportunity to:Assist with providing technical support to create and deliver appropriate taxation/business plans and strategies for clients.Build and maintain client relationships.Undertake special taxation advisory services assignments.Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies.Prepare or review clients' BAS and IAS returns.Prepare letters of advice and position papers on tax issues.Work on domestic and international tax issues.Work collaboratively with the Transfer Pricing team.About you:To succeed as a Taxation Consultant at Moore Australia, you will:Have an undergraduate qualification in accounting; however, a dual qualification in law or another discipline would be highly regarded.Have 2-3 years' experience in professional services with an emphasis on tax advisory.Be a qualified CA/CPA/CTA/Masters of Tax, or working towards being qualified.Experience in a Big 4 Firm is highly regarded.Be capable of building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.Be detail-oriented and professional with strong compliance skills.Be highly organised and a natural planner.Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and in writing.Have had exposure to Transfer Pricing or be wanting to learn (advantageous, not required).What we offer you:Competitive remuneration - be recognised with an attractive salary package that is in line with your skills and experience.Birthday and Community Leave.Connection to a Global network, with local benefits.Stability in a long-established and reputable firm.Local, national, and global training programs across technical, soft skills, and personal development topics.Opportunities to progress and build your career.About Us:Moore Australia (QLD/NNSW) is an independently owned and managed firm with 19 partners and over 150 team members across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.We are a member of the Moore Australia and Moore Global networks, giving us access to share expertise, knowledge, and best practices to ensure you receive the best career progression and our clients the highest quality of service.How to apply:To apply please click apply, include your Cover Letter detailing how you meet the requirements of this position and your current CV outlining your work history.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.We look forward to potentially meeting you#J-18808-Ljbffr
