Full Stack Software Developer

The Opportunity: This role will be critical in the design, implementation and maintenance of our onboard autonomy systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with a global team, working across multiple time zones, to ensure products meet technical specifications and are delivered within projected milestones.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize C++ software for AHS onboard systems, ensuring functional and performance excellence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical) to create control system software specifications that support autonomous haul truck operations.Provide expert engineering support to ensure AHS software meets reliability, functionality, and cost objectives.Represent the AHS team in customer meetings to review system development, performance, reliability, and availability.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with AHS design and functionality.Assist the broader AHS project team as needed, contributing to various aspects of system development and deployment.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field (BSEE, BSCE).5+ years of experience in programming and software development within an engineering environment.Proven experience in developing embedded or onboard software for autonomous or robotics systems is highly desirable.The ability to travel internationally is required.Diversity and Inclusion Diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group's Core Values.
