An opportunity in the northwest for a hardworking individual to join the Strahan team as a Lift Up Operator working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.

About the role
The Lift Up Operator is responsible for operating machinery to safely and efficiently retrieve mortalities, while ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
Demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, you will:
Conduct daily lift-ups and maintain accurate records.
Proactively plan to prevent disruptions to bathing operations.
Accurately report mortalities and communicate any abnormalities to the Fish Performance Manager.
Assist with various farm duties as needed.
This is a full-time role, operating on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.

About you
You ideally have a valid Coxswains certificate, including a diesel endorsement, and experience in fish farm operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships.
The capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm while working in a changing environment.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
