About the role
The purpose of the Yard Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate all tasks required at the IOR Yard and the surrounding Service Area, as needed.
This role supervises the Yard Person, based at the Aviation Container Yard in Lytton, operates Monday to Friday, with shifts of up to 10 hours per day.

Manage a team of one, supervise labour, parts, resourcing and scheduling tasks.
Assist in filling and loading tanks on a daily basis, ensuring all workshop tools and material handling equipment are in line with WHS.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop, offices, and general Yard areas and associated equipment, including DG.
Manual handling and the use of material handling equipment.
Conduct Yard stock takes and forklift work, with intermediate software literacy, including the Microsoft suite.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Experience in assisting skilled or tradespeople and running a yard/warehouse.
Current Driver's License.
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining a high standard of work.
