About the role:We have an exciting role available for a Merchandise Planner to join our dynamic Stylerunner team
Reporting to the Head of Planning, the Merchandise Planner will be responsible for maximizing business profitability through effective stock management.
This opportunity is focused on data and analytics, making sure the business achieves budgeted sales, gross profit, and inventory productivity measures.
Your key responsibilities will include: Planning and development of Merchandise strategies in conjunction with the BuyerOTB managementMaximizing sales, profit, and return on inventoryManagement of promotional and markdown materialLead and manage the forecast review process in collaboration with the buying team to identify opportunities and risks and put plans in place to deliver budget outcomesMonthly tracking of KPI's to compare with budget, forecast, and prior yearManage the allocation and replenishment of product to maximize sales and deliver profitable outcomesDevelop framework to ensure the buy reflects strategic intent and delivery of budget expectationsMentor and coach direct reports to develop their skills whilst delivering improved inventory outcomesLead the broader business team to deliver improved financial outcomesTo succeed in this role, you will need to have: Strong numerical and analytical skillsLeadership skillsProven ability to manage an OTBForecasting abilityAbility to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a resultProven ability to drive inventory productivity improvementsAbility to take a proactive approach and think strategicallyAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to lead Excel based projectsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamPrevious experience in both Planner roles and Inventory Management roles, ideally in the "own brand" and/or apparel industryAffiliation with Accent Group Core values "Make it happen" attitude#J-18808-Ljbffr
