About you Following an exceptionally busy 2024, we are now looking for a Building Supervisor to join our Maintenance department.
You will join a collaborative and skilled team, supported by strong leadership and will be responsible for the management and oversight of maintenance jobs including estimating across QLD for West to West Group.
As the main contact and liaison for the assigned jobs between internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee compliance, approvals, and management of required staff and trades for those jobs, ensuring they are completed timely, safe, on budget and of high quality.
As a critical contributor to the team, you will be responsible for managing multiple buildings throughout the CBD, complemented and supported by a team of multi-trade professionals.
Your prior experience as a dedicated Building Supervisor means you are a strong collaborator, proactive with solutions and hold safety and stakeholder relationships in high regard.

To be successful in this role, you will be: A Building Supervisor with 2+ years of maintenance experienceA positive and motivated individual, who leads by exampleAble to maintain and develop effective working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients alikeCommitted to safety, with strong leadership skills to ensure production targets are safely achievedA strong communicator who thrives in a dynamic environmentSome of your daily duties will include: Supervising and instructing construction workers as well as subcontractors in accordance with project programComplete quoting on client jobs, with understanding of material and labour requirementsProcure materials, contractors and plant as requiredProvide small works / minor works quotes for tenantsInspecting sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazardsEducating site workers on construction safety regulations and proceduresEnsuring HSEQ procedures are followed in line with HSEQ management planSetting up and managing site and ensure all site protection and signage are in place during the entirety of the projectWhat we offer: Competitive salary in recognition of your skillset and experienceOpportunities for career progression within the companyGreat office locationParking on-siteA supportive team with high-retention and engagementAbout West to West West to West Group is a national company specialising in a diverse suite of service offerings across Construction, Fitout, and Maintenance.
