Assistant Restaurant Manager of Black Hide Steak & Seafood at Queen's WharfThe multi award-winning, multi venue Gambaro Hospitality Group is eagerly seeking a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join Black Hide Steak & Seafood Restaurant to help support this new venue that just opened at Queens Wharf Brisbane CBD.
Our brand new restaurant is located on the banks of the Brisbane River at the newly opened casino The Star Brisbane.
A destination like no other, nestled at the heart of the multi-billion-dollar Queens Wharf precinct
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and General Manager of Food & Beverage Operations, you will assist in leading & driving our team to deliver unique and consistent guest experiences in line with our reputation and expectations.
Required Skills & Attributes to be considered: A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant ManagerExcellent knowledge of Australian wines and cuisinePrevious experience leading a large team with the ability to motivate, inspire and coachEffective planning, time management and decision-making skillsRostering, stock takes, ordering of beverage and goodsRolling Forecast and Cost Control acumenAbility to work under pressure in a busy environmentHigh standards of grooming and personal presentationExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a confident, engaging and professional approachCurating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finishAble to take directions and work autonomouslyPunctuality, reliability and flexibility over a seven-day rosterComputer literacy (Microsoft Office suite and other hospitality software)Current QLD RSA CertificateThis is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career and join one of Queensland's most iconic businesses
