About the role:As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO), Signet is working towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
This focuses on sustainable material sourcing and manufacturing, right through to the end-of-life product disposal.
We are committed to providing our customers with products and solutions that have minimal impact on the environment.

Our national HSEQ team is keen to have a proactive and talented individual to join them as an Environmental Social Governance Coordinator, to champion the excellent initiatives Signet already has implemented.

Ecobiz AccreditationOperation Clean SweepSolar Energy initiativeSignet Green TeamIn order to design, influence, and execute key initiatives in line with our Environmental Social Governance priorities, responsibilities for this position will include:
Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Hazard IdentificationRisk Assessment and ControlInvestigations, Analysis and Continual ImprovementAudits and ReviewsDocumenting, Reporting Systems & SubmissionsSupporting HSE projects and initiativesActing as lead Educator for contractors, visitors, and staff on all things ESGOverall department support and duties as assignedAbout you:Along with a passion for sustainability innovation and accountability, the successful candidate should have a holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider environmental, social, and governance issues for the built environment.
Other qualities & experience that we also value are:
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlinesExcellent report writing skills and exposure to mainstream ERP or Safety systemsEffective communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and cross-functional teamsInterest in the HSEQ field (Desirable)Interest in a manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environment (Desirable)Auditing experience, internal and external (Desirable)Please note applicants must have unlimited working rights in Australia.
