You will be liaising with internal and external Stakeholders, undertaking flood studies and flood risk management plans in accordance to NSW Flood Policy.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Join a vibrant Local Council in Sydney as a Stormwater Engineer , where you'll play a key role in managing stormwater infrastructure, flood risk assessments, and water quality solutions.
You'll work on diverse projects that directly impact the community, from stormwater management systems to floodplain planning.
DUTIES.
Design, review, and implement stormwater and flood risk management solutions Manage stormwater-related projects and ensure timely delivery Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve stormwater and flooding issues Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making Provide technical advice and recommendations on stormwater systems and developments SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
Degree in Engineering (Civil) or relevant experience Prior experience in Local Government in relevant field is preferred Exposure in stormwater and floodplain projects High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills CULTURE.
