Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Rotating Night Shift) Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician for our rotating night shift in Kalamazoo.
This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient operation of our production equipment through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including thermoforming and printing machines.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.Conduct preventative maintenance and assist with line inspections.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Ensure safety compliance while operating precision tools and equipment.Collaborate with team members for effective communication and task handoff during shifts.Shift Details: Start Time: 5:15 a.m. (arrival) | 5:20 a.m. (shift handoff meeting)Discuss plant status and carryover tasks during shift meetings.Maintain communication through email and on the production floor.The Maintenance Technician will manage breakdown calls, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct line walks to ensure smooth operations.
