About the role We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our busy production team at our salad processing facility in Bairnsdale.
You will be responsible for working towards achieving production targets while working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards.
Day shift available.
We do work some public holidays and Sundays during our peak period (penalty rates apply).
Key Responsibilities Supervise teams of Process Workers and Machine OperatorsMotivate and mentor teams to encourage positive morale and high productivityAchieving output and line speed targets within set timeframesMaintain a strong focus on working safely and adhere to food safety standardsWork in a cold room environment (between 2 and 4 degrees)About You Experience within FMCG, as a team leader or similar experienceMust be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 5-20kgAbility to think on your feet and outside the boxHands on approach to achieving KPI'sHigh accuracy rate and excellent attention to detailProficient computer and organizational skillsSome knowledge of CI (Lean Manufacturing concepts) - highly regarded but not essentialPromoting process changesAwareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP, would be good but we will train youWhat we offer An opportunity to advance your skills and capability working alongside industry professionalsA collaborative team environment with a dynamic company in a high-growth sectorThe chance to contribute to a company that is making a real difference in the lives of AustraliansFree and secure on-site parkingBelonging One Harvest is an inclusive, equal opportunity workplace where individual strengths are valued, leading to increased diversity & innovation.
