The Company
One of Melbourne's leading property investment boutiques.
They have a strong track record over more than a decade of returning significant wealth to their investors with many IRRs over 20%.
Most of their investors are made up of sophisticated HNW Individuals and family offices.
The Role
The Investor Relations role will be responsible for all external-facing client communications.
This will include driving our internet and social media communications, developing and managing client events, and assisting with the drafting and distribution of client communications and investment documents.
The role will work with two highly experienced private wealth operatives who have outstanding market connectivity.
Your role will be to assist in managing and developing our capital and client relationships and ideally bringing new contacts and perspectives to the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Management of the website and associated social media channels;
Maintain in-house marketing collateral;
Drive the production of client communications and external materials used to develop our client base;
Update and deliver client engagement events which may include lunches, drinks functions, webinars, and other external client-facing interactions;
Assist in the drafting of new Investment Memorandums;
Work with the Capital team to create new relationships and open doors to new investors;
Provide materials and follow-ups to platform providers, research houses, investment committees, and other strategic bodies critical to the ongoing development of our investor pipeline;
Domestic and overseas travel and coordination for investor relations meetings and roadshows;
Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organizations;
Work with the Capital team to ensure that fund capital structures are appropriate for each fund.
The Successful Candidate will have:
Ideally 5 years in Investor Relations or a like role.
Experience in the property sector is desirable though not necessary;
Strong project management and problem-solving skills;
Proficient in design programs such as PowerPoint and InDesign;
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and coordination skills;
Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines;
Strong attention to detail;
As the company's client base is right across Australia, the role might involve some travel.
