Construction Legal is a multi-award-winning boutique construction and property law firm. We pride ourselves with not only competing with the big law firms, but we offer our clients a service that is more practical, commercial and personable than the large firms.
Our clients range from developers, construction companies, government entities and infrastructure contractors. Our practice continues to grow at a rapid rate and we are now looking for the right lawyer who can work in our fast paced, rewarding and energetic environment.
As a Lawyer or Associate with 2 to 4 years' experience working in property, construction or infrastructure law, you will be working with experienced Senior Associates who enable a level of autonomy not seen in larger firms, all whilst carefully guiding and mentoring you.

You will be guided and supervised wherever needed, but also you will be encouraged to have carriage of your own matters at the right time, with a relative level of autonomy and ongoing senior support. This is not a role where you will be micromanaged or spoon fed. You will work alongside the Senior Associates and have access to continuous mentoring.
Our offices are modern, bright, open and overlook the beautiful Hyde Park in Sydney's CBD. Through our team of approximately 20 people, there is a close team environment where everyone supports each other, from both a technical and a culture perspective.
Each day is different at our firm, with varying legal work such as large property acquisitions, complex construction and commercial disputes and front-end contracts and infrastructure advisory work.
Skills and experience: Minimum of 2+ years PQECompleted your law degree with strong academic resultsCompleted property, contracts, civil procedure or related subjects (such as evidence) as part of your law degreeAn ability to communicate, both in writing and orally, clearly and conciselyAn ability to apply commercial acumen to each legal matterGood judgement and common senseA self-starter's attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a larger teamAdmirable work ethic and the aspiration to provide commendable service at every juncture of your workIdeally you will also have: High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelExperience in construction or property lawA genuine passion for the construction and property industryAs a firm, we take pride in investing and equipping our team members with the skills to be exceptional lawyers delivering great results for our clients.
