Their values include 'Outstanding Service', 'Family', and 'Having Fun', making them the perfect company for highly motivated and fun-loving individualsWith exceptional growth opportunities, the firm is looking to bring on an experienced Bookkeeper who can help support the bookkeeping team with their loyal and multi-industry clienteleAbout the roleAs a bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:Review work papersReconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers, etc.Liaise with clients across industries such as medical, engineering, retail, manufacturing, and moreWork on a key portfolio of clients that you will build long-standing relationships with, and have solid insight into their businessesWork on more complicated payroll tasks for clientsWork alongside a strong team of 9, including: a Partner, a manager, two bookkeepers onshore, and a team of 4 bookkeepers offshore.Skillset and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have:MINIMUM 2-3 years experience in a public practice accounting firm in AustraliaExperience working as a bookkeeper, supporting multiple clientsWorked with business clients with a turnover of at least $2 millionDemonstrated experience with MYOB AE, MYOB, and Xero - idealConfidence and demonstrated experience with building strong client relationshipsGreat work ethic | motivation | positive and honest attitude | enjoys a good laughThe BenefitsThe successful candidate will enjoy:WFH 2 DAYS PER WEEK | Early finish every FridayBonus paid annual leave (after 5 years of service)BONUS SCHEME - 33.3% of all referred (new) client billings in the first 12 monthsHalf-year lodgment and fees challenge rewards | WAGE BONUSESMassive internal promotion opportunities and salary review (yearly)Exciting social engagements with the team, and the entire firmTo Apply:If you're a bookkeeper looking for your next best opportunity, please apply directly via our website at www.abacushumancapital.com.au/jobsYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
