This service is provided in a manner consistent with the needs of a university teaching hospital and the strategic directions of Austin Health.
High volume tests and most complex low volume testing are performed at the Austin Hospital.About the role:An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our Central Specimen Reception within Austin Pathology to fill a casual position.
Central Specimen Reception operates a 24-hour service, 7 days a week.
The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to cover shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.About you:As the Specimen Reception Laboratory Assistant, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
