Field Service Technician – MACKAY REGIONAre you a Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking for a full-time, permanent role based in Mackay, with ongoing job stability, stacks of autonomy and company perks?This role reports to our State Service Manager who is based in Brisbane. The Field Service Technician we require will bring a wealth of knowledge in advanced diagnostics and excellent technical expertise. Your days will be kept busy traveling to customer sites and workshops to work on VOLVO CE and SGLG products. This role is PIVOTAL within CJD, as you will be the face of CJD in the Mackay region.What you'll be kept busy with:Booking work, dealing directly with our customers and performing the required servicing and repairs on equipment in Mackay and the surrounding regionTroubleshooting electronic, engine, hydraulic, and transmission systemsPerforming quality workmanship with a 'done right the first-time' approachLiaising with our Product Specialist to assist when you need that extra support with an issueEnsuring you comply with Safety first at all times.What you need to get the job done:A proactive attitude toward safety – we want you to get home in one pieceExperience and knowledge with computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogsA positive attitude and good communication skillsCurrent driver's licence because you will be provided a decked-out CJD Service vehicle, along with mobile and laptopAble to travel as you will be required to visit sites and this may lead to an overnight stay (on occasions)What's in it for you?Pay: Competitive hourly rate + penalties + tool of trade vehiclePerks: Discounts with National brandsLooking smart: Sharp uniforms and workwear and all the PPE you could need suppliedCareer: Training, career development, growth and advancement opportunitiesCulture: Exceptional cultureStability: We're an employer for the long-termReferral program: Generous referral payments to get your mates a job with the CJD family
