For more information see: www.montessoriacademy.com.au Location: Dapto Montessori Academy- 19 Jerematta St, Dapto NSW 2530 The Role: In a Montessori classroom, educators serve as a link between the Prepared Environment and the children.
Their role is to observe the children and guide them in their own unique learning process, to help them develop a life-long love of learning.
As a Room Leader, you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality education and care for all enrolled children that is consistent with the service philosophy, procedures and policies, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and as per the National Quality Framework.
About you: Cert III or Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) 1-2 years experience in a leadership role Current Working with Children Check First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment Strong understanding of the importance of family communications What we offer: Above award rate of pay Virtual and in-person Montessori workshops Fully funded ECT courses 50% staff discount on childcare fees Generous discounts to major retailers (Woolworths, Coles, Adore Beauty, Apple, Specsavers) Access to Employee Assistance Program Generous classroom budgets for events and resources Great company culture that is fun, professional, and supportive of all team members Think you have what it takes to join the Montessori Academy Team?
