The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Manager, Cyber Security Program to fill a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security.The role of a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Program includes:Provide full lifecycle project management leadership for the delivery of cybersecurity projects from initiation through to implementation.Provide incident management services as part of the DJCS Cyber Incident Management Team.Collaborate with the Privacy and Information Management teams to deliver a safe and secure information environment in DJCS.About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:Technical Expertise
Commercial acumen to negotiate effectively to establish low risk, value for money commercial contracts that meet the specified requirements.Experience in applying structured project management methods.Working knowledge of cybersecurity defences and techniques.Working knowledge of state, national and international cybersecurity and information security frameworks.Experienced in cyber incident management, including communications with senior stakeholders.Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in a technology discipline such as computer science, information technology management, systems engineering or similar.At least 8 years of project delivery experience in information technology or similar fields is desirable.A diploma or certification in cybersecurity is advantageous.Experience working in cybersecurity projects is highly desired.How to Apply
