Job DescriptionWe're on the lookout for qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with our expanding Adelaide team.
Supporting key retail, commercial and residential construction projects, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.
This role is responsible for:
Liaising with clients, architects and main contractorsIdentifying and facilitating new business opportunitiesMaster-plan and feasibility budgetsCost checking of developing designTender evaluations and analysisCash flow projectsProcurementCost reportingEvaluation of variationsValuationsFinal account reportingClaims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claimsInvestment analysisFormulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plansQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementFull Australian working rights and currently located in AustraliaRICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regardedProficient in the use of Cost XHighly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clientsAdditional InformationAt WT, we offer many perks including:
