About the Position We are looking to welcome a Child and Family Consultant to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to provide holistic assessment and support planning.
Full time position.
Government funded until 31 December 2025 with possible extension.
Level 5 under the SCHCADS Award.
Salary range is $97,378 - $101,788 + Super.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting Child Safety in engaging with the child and their family.
Enabling, supporting, and informing a holistic response to the child and their family.
Undertaking a targeted assessment of a family's strengths and needs.
Assisting the child and their family to access the support and services they need.

About You A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
At least five (5) years' experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five years' experience working in similar roles.
Demonstrated specialist skills in at least one of the following areas: drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development.
Understanding of the impacts of trauma on child development and family functioning.

Current driver's licence.
