Nexia Sydney is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer.
31st October, 2024The opportunityDue to ongoing growth and success of the firm, Nexia Sydney has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer.
You will be reporting to the Head of IT and work with the team on implementing and managing the firm's software and providing data analytics support.
The roleMaintain existing systems and perform data migrationsImplement and manage software and updates, ensuring compliance with security and quality standardsIdentify improvements and advise on software design proposals and strategiesResearch and evaluate software requirementsManage database administration, including configuration and reportingTest database systems to meet security and disaster recovery standardsBuild and maintain relationships with internal clients to understand their needsFulfill commitments to clients and keep the team informed of relevant issuesSupport or lead projects on software procurement, including managing tenders and supplier negotiationsDevelop solutions to enhance processes and reduce costsProvide user training and ongoing supportIdentify additional services for clients and communicate these ideasConduct software testing, fix errors, and make necessary modificationsEnsure accurate database design and maintain documentationAbout youExperience with cloud software and infrastructureProven ability to implement and manage new software solutionsFamiliarity with CSM or practice management softwareDesirable exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., Python)Experience in conducting internal training is a plusRelevant degree in Information Systems or a similar fieldMicrosoft Certified IT Professional in Azure/Office 365Proficient with technology, demonstrating advanced skills in the firm's technology suiteStrong understanding of software and data, with the ability to share knowledge effectivelyKnowledge of IT standards, legal requirements, and best practicesExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 5 years of IT experienceNexia benefitsHighly collaborative team environmentLearning and development to support your careerPaid Parental LeaveGlobal network assignmentsComprehensive wellbeing program including Employee Assistance Program, flu vaccinations and health care insurance discounts, income protection servicesFinancial wellbeing support including novated leasing, financial planning services and access to exclusive discounts and vouchers from leading retailersConvenient Sydney CBD office locationCSR activities and eventsWear what makes you comfortable and dress for your daySporting events and tournaments (CAANZ)Life at NexiaNexia Sydney has 30 partners and 230 staff, with global links to Nexia International.
