About the role:
This position will be responsible for providing case management to refugee and eligible migrant clients who have lived in Australia for less than 5 years and building the participants' capacity to engage in mainstream services independently.
The Case Manager will be required to maintain their caseload, assist in complex cases, provide mentoring to our Language Support Workers, and promote our SETS program to internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join MCCGC as we commence delivery of SETS as a newly directly funded provider for the Gold Coast community in partnership with Multicultural Australia.

What you will do:
Case management by completing holistic intake assessments, providing referrals to relevant stakeholders, and following up on client referral outcomes.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results for clients through networking and sustaining partnerships.
Promotion and maintenance of systems for high-level client services and feedback.
Program and statistical reporting to funding bodies.
Maintenance of client casework data, ensuring data remains up-to-date and current, and case notes are completed and filed.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years experience and tertiary qualifications in Human Services, Social Work, or relevant discipline.
Case Management experience with an understanding of client-centered, holistic practice framework.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage complex situations.
Highly developed advocacy and negotiation skills.
Current Drivers Licence, First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children (Blue Card).
Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
