Job Description:Bring your passion for continuous improvement, maintenance and team leadership to life in our Reliability Manager position at Mars Ballarat. In this role you will oversee a team of 13 reliability technicians, providing maintenance expertise and leadership, with a primary objective of optimising reliability, safety, productivity, quality, efficiency and environmental impact.With your leadership you will continue to build and manage a continuous improvement culture, with teamwork as the foundation to how we show up to support the wider factory in achieving mutual outcomes.What are we looking for?Engineering degree preferred, but not essentialMechanical/Electrical certificationStrong people management, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop your direct reportsFamiliarity working with SAP PMContinuous improvement and ability to navigate and confidently influence change across multiple departments and stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving skillsWhat will be your key responsibilities?Supervise the Reliability department providing continuous guidance, support and trainingRespond efficiently to engineering and information requests from external departments, to generate solutions and work orders.Control labour, equipment and maintenance costs whilst ensuring the availability of adequate change parts and consumablesDevelop, implement and execute the weekly maintenance planWork in partnership with other departments to provide timely project outcomes, including: estimation, planning, sourcing, supervision, commissioning and training.Develop a continuous improvement culture by involving relevant personnel in the ongoing identification, development and implementation of improvements.Review and approve Associate work requests and other ad hoc maintenance requirementsDiagnose and evaluate equipment issuesWhat can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
