DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an analytical product manager with strong business acumen to partner with our commercial teams in negotiations and other profitability initiatives to maximize value. This role will enable success through educating priorities with analysis, the creation of robust mechanisms, and the delivery of tech products.You will have a passion for efficiency and problem-solving. You will be a natural self-starter, with superior analytical skills and a curiosity about how things work. You will lead large, complex cross-functional projects and influence diverse peers and senior leaders. You will also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving deep into the details.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the continued development, expansion, and presentation to senior leadership of these profitability initiatives. As the leader of these efforts, you will directly partner with teams across Vendor Management, Finance, Tech, and Legal to implement experiments and solutions and measure impact.Key job responsibilitiesAnalyse data and dive deep into business metrics to develop actionable solutions to accelerate profitable growth.Identify defects and churn in processes and work with partner teams to deliver innovative solutions.Help launch new products, features, and increase the efficiency of negotiations.Build relationships with and influence teams across Vendor Management, Finance, Tech, and Legal.Bring robust program management skills, holding your program stakeholders accountable to the highest standards.Have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence local and remote teams, both tech and non-tech.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experienceExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersSuccessful history of delivering innovative products that customers loveKnowledge of SQL at an advanced levelStrong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision-making and comfort with financial and operational analysisExperience building and analysing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organizationAcknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
