Clinical Claims Specialist (Provisional / Registered Psychology / Counsellor) - Telehealth RoleZed3 Medical Group is a multi-disciplinary mental health business operating in Canberra and via telehealth around Australia.
We provide services in Psychiatry, Psychology, and Paediatrics.
Our clinical work is predominantly trauma-focused, servicing a variety of clients across the Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police, Veteran, and Civilian communities.We are currently seeking expressions of interest from PhD/Masters students studying Psychology/Counselling, as well as fully Registered Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counsellors to work remotely from around Australia as a Clinical Claims Specialist 1-3 days per week (with a preference for 2-3 days).
The primary role of the Clinical Claims Specialist is to assist in the preparation of mental health claims on behalf of Veterans to the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
This involves conducting one-on-one telehealth interviews with Veterans to better understand the nature and source of their psychological injuries, along with the administration and interpretation of various psychometrics.
Following initial training in Canberra, you will be supported remotely and required to operate as part of the Clinical Claims team with autonomy.
It is important that you are emotionally resilient and able to provide effective support to clients, as you may be exposed to recounts of significant trauma.As a clinic, we are focused on our team's wellbeing and growth and hope this job will allow support and development as mental health clinicians.
We have seen significant growth in the team over the last 12 months, with further expansion expected.
You will be invited to participate in fortnightly group supervision with the Clinical Claims Specialists, as well as ad hoc supervision with our psychology team, which provides fantastic learning and networking opportunities.
While the job requires you to work remotely from a confidential space at home, it is likely that as the team grows, we can create local hubs for Clinical Claims Specialists to work together around the country.We will provide those in the role with a laptop and remuneration of $42.39/hour (plus super).Interviews for this role will take place on 9, 10, and 11 December, with offers made prior to the Christmas shutdown.
This role will begin in January 2025 with three days of training in Canberra on 20, 21, and 22 January.
