Systems Engineer About the Opportunity We are pleased to offer a new exciting, permanent position for individuals interested in joining our Tait Asia Pacific Team as a Systems Engineer based out of Brisbane Office.
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to all lifecycle phases of the complex communication solutions, from concept and development, to production, deployment and support.
Key functions of this role also include:
Participating in the Agreement Process by providing input to the presales function Participating in the Technical Management process by providing input to the project planning and control, and performing risk management Providing significant input to the Technical Process, as detailed in the Position Description Providing required input to the Technical Support function Requirement analysis and requirement management System design, including all elements of integrated communications solutions Documentation System deployment and commissioning Verification and validation What You'll Bring: Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills to enable effective management of all stakeholders Attention to the details, and to grasp complexity Ability to understand uncertainty and risk in the System and Project context, and be able to deal with that Excellent analytical skills to enable participation in different lifecycles of the complex, integrated communication solutions Experience Required You will be an experienced engineer with a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in Systems Engineering. You are registered with Engineers Australia, or qualified for registration, at the Professional Engineer grade in the areas of Telecommunications, Electronics or Systems Engineering. Your prior experience in dealing with integrated communications solutions, specifically in radio communications, will assist you to be successful in this role.
