Nepean Private Hospital is seeking experienced Food Services Assistant's to join our team on a Full-time, Part-time or Casual basis In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
This role will see you involved in a variety of kitchen and hospitality tasks including food preparation, delivery and customer service.
There is also the opportunity to work in the environmental services department.
As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include: Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
Provide high standard of customer service Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development Essential Criteria: Previous food services experience in Healthcare, Aged care, Hotels, or similar Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check Commitment to service excellence.
Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities Strong communication and customer skills Attention to detail Work well independently and within a team Available for on call shifts including weekends Nepean Private Hospital, where doing what you love means more Nepean Private Hospital is in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith.
The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics.
Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.
It is an exciting time for Nepean Private Hospital.
We are investing in our future with an exciting $38M redevelopment which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with 4 new operating theatres, purpose built pre-admission area, new sterilising department, new foyer and retail space, new consulting suites, refurbished main entry and a new car park.
