What this job involves:
We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team and support our client's national portfolio
You will lead and manage a team of Portfolio Accountants, business partnering with Property Managers and the client to deliver timely and accurate property accounts to local and international clients owning Australian based property assets.

A snapshot of the role:
Day to day management of a team of 3 Portfolio Accountants Ensure team complies with all relevant Trust Accounting and Property Accounting policies and procedures inclusive of any client specific policies Deliver a set of financial reports for a portfolio of assets Process and approve journal entries Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Prepare IFRS rent smoothing and incentive amortizations journals Liaise with client finance teams on all property accounting matters Sound like you?
This is what we're looking for:
Tertiary education in Accounting / Finance Achievement of professional qualifications (CPA / CA) will be highly regarded Prior experience in Property / Real Estate industry Solid interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with people at all levels Sound written and oral communication skills with a positive approach to meeting client's needs whilst managing tenants' expectations Ability to work independently as well as part of an effective team Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight deadlines Proficiency in MRI / Argus or other asset management software will be desirable Location:
