With over 1000 offices internationally, they are continuing to aspire to grow. Due to recent movement in the finance team, they are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to be based in their head office in Brisbane's CBD. This will best suit a candidate coming out of chartered or commercial.The RoleReporting directly to the Finance Manager, this broad role will manage one staff member and look after the corporate accounting for the assigned divisions. Key responsibilities include:Budgeting and forecastingCashflow managementFinancial and management reporting including analysis and commentaryAnalysis of profitability and revenuePreparing end of month journals, accruals, and prepaymentsReview of BAS and complianceDriving system and process improvement initiativesThe PersonWith a background in a similar role, the successful candidate will also possess:CA/CPA qualification or working towardsExperience in either a commercial or chartered environment or bothStrong Excel skills and experience with systemsStrong analytical skillsHigh-level communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with the businessStrong commercial acumenDrive to succeed, add value, and eagerness to learn
