Looking for an Occupational Therapist to be the Manager for Disability and Aged Care.
Work with a business providing Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons across Victoria.
Part Time position in a central Melbourne location with a Salary of $140,000.00 + Super (Based on Full Time).
About the role The Manager, Disability and Aged Care is responsible for overseeing and managing Disability & Aged Care services at specified prison locations which provides functional assessment and personal care services for older people and people living with a disability in prison.
The Manager, Disability and Aged Care is responsible for the coordination and provision of personal care attendants at prison locations when their services are required by a person in prison.
The role requires the incumbent to performance all duties in accordance with the GEO Healthcare Values.
A Part Time role working from Carlton , overseeing multiple locations across Victoria, the position offers $67.3077 per hour, or $140,000.00 per annum + Super based on Full Time.
Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications related to health and/or adult education; and AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Extensive experience providing Occupational Therapy to people with a disability and/or older people.
Extensive experience in the developing, reviewing and undertaking functional assessments on people with a disability or those who require assistance with activities of daily living as well as developing reports and Personal Care Assistance Plans which provide recommendations and guidance to the person and their service providers on what supports and assistance they require.
Experience and/or demonstrated capacity to coordinate a personal care assistance program.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with directors, managers, and staff on disability and aged care service planning and implementation.
Experience and/or demonstrated capacity to consider the requirements for people from a CALD background in regard to health service planning and delivery.
Experience building effective networks, community partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
Experience developing high performance teams to meet Key Performance Measures Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyse service data and produce high level internal and stakeholder reports.
Experience in leadership roles that included a focus on risk assessment and management, implementation of quality assurance systems and continuous improvement processes, management of key performance indicators and high-level service coordination.
Other Requirements of the role: Valid and current full Australian driver's licence.
Ability to work within a correctional setting, which will involve direct contact with prisoners associated with the delivery of healthcare.
Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Working outside of ordinary business hours may be required.
