Our mission is to help financial intermediaries & investors leverage our knowledge & expertise, and to equip them with the tools & insights they need to deliver high quality investment solutions.About The RoleThe role of Associate Analyst, based in Melbourne, reports to the Head of Equities and works collaboratively within a small team of four. The purpose of the role is to research ASX200 Equites, Hybrid's and ETFs.Responsibilities:Equities - (ASX200)Provide commentary and valuations on ASX 200 listed companiesCompile sector and stock specific reports on a monthly basisCreate and distribute daily bulletins on Local, Global and Equity related contentMaintain Corporate Actions JournalAttend to general enquiries from Lonsec clients and staff.Listed Income (Hybrids):Monitor and update listed income (Hybrids) on a daily basis.Issue research on new debt/hybrid issues, as required.Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's)Analyse and conduct research on ETF products over a breadth of asset classes per an annual review cycle and in accordance with the published Lonsec research processEngage with ETF providers for periodic reviewsPrepare research reports for new and existing ETF's.About you:Undergraduate degree.Previous experience (1-2yrs+) working with a research house, stockbroker, fund manager or corporate, with an emphasis on financial analysis and industry knowledge specific to equities.Research skills (qualitative) - a strong ability to synthesize and distil financial information down to key concepts and convey this in written form efficiently, clearly and concisely.
