Vie Structured Finance Analyst

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will primarily support the origination and execution activities across a broad range of structured finance transactions, particularly within the Infrastructure sector in the Australian and Asian markets. The candidate will have the opportunity to build close relationships with the teams onshore and within the organisation on a regional and global basis. The candidate will also work with other business lines within Financing & Advisory such as Energy, Digital, Batteries & Mining, and Real Estate.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesFinancial modelling including analysing financial scenarios and producing sensitivity analysisProviding support in all aspects of the credit process including preparation of credit applications, due diligence, and assistance with utilisation of internal modelsManaging other internal processes relating to financing & advisory transactions e.g. updating databases, briefing notes, completing internal system-based processesSupporting ongoing portfolio management and gathering of client informationContributing to the identification of potential new business opportunities and assisting with preparation of research and marketing materialsRespecting all relevant compliance practices and other internal requirements in relation to the execution of financing & advisory transactionsDue to the VIE eligibility criteria, a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.Profile RequiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.To facilitate the examination of your application by our English-speaking managers, we thank you for applying in English.Studies & Experience:You are graduated with a Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Law or a professional financial qualificationA previous experience or interest in the field would be appreciatedLanguage Skills:Fluent in EnglishTechnical, Operational & Soft Skills:Good communication and presentation skillsProficient/Good command of MS OfficeProven analytical skills, numerical skills, and understanding of financial statements, cashflow and financial modelling skillsGood interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial issues to less financially literate stakeholdersThe VIE Assignment in a NutshellThis VIE in Sydney is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
