Are you passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health services in rural communities?
HealthWISE is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our Tamworth team and contribute to improving mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan.
In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team, including Lived Experience staff, to provide holistic, person-centred care.
Your work will span from delivering psychological therapies for mild to moderate conditions to coordinating care for individuals with complex mental health needs.
You'll also support recovery from trauma, including Domestic, Family, and Sexual Violence (DFSV), and integrate culturally appropriate practices in line with community needs.

What You'll Bring:
Expertise in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, EMDR, and DBT.
Commitment to culturally appropriate care and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially when liaising with GPs, Allied Health providers, and community organisations.
A passion for trauma recovery and mental health care that is person-centred and recovery-oriented.
What You'll Need:
AHPRA/AASW registration or equivalent.
Experience providing mental health services for moderate to severe conditions.
Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of digital health systems.
Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Driver's Licence.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Knowledge of the Stepped Care framework and primary mental health sector.
Familiarity with integrating lived experience perspectives into care delivery.
