We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
This role will be casual initially with the possibility of transitioning to permanent part time next year.

Skills and Experience A Cert III in Animal Care, Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, or experience working as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic is essential Computer skills (MS Office) and a professional phone manner are essential. Highly organized Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task Be solutions-oriented Be willing to assist in safely restraining and handling animals with a fear-free approach if the need arises Be able and willing to assist with nursing and surgical nursing when needed, if appropriately qualified Experience with veterinary software and/or a veterinary hospital environment will be advantageous Be able and flexible to work any hours between 8.30am and 6.45pm Monday to Friday Role and Responsibilities You will be expected to:
Assist the Vets and Vet Nurses in providing the best care possible for our patients and their owners Follow our proven processes and signature systems to ensure our clients reach their optimal goals for their pets' health and wellbeing. Administrative work including: managing a booking schedule, responding to emails, liaising with veterinary colleagues and veterinary referrers, organizing office space, data input, filling out forms, banking and working with medical records and invoices. Soak up everything you can from all your team colleagues, whether they be clinicians, admin support or cleaners.
Take on their constructive feedback with grace, but also bring your knowledge and skills to us so we can learn from you Bring passion and positive energy to the workplace.
This needs to complement a high level of professionalism with both colleagues and clients.

Pay: $53,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
