Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Thoracic Medicine, Queensland Health Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide specialist thoracic medicine services to patients at, or referred to, the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
About the role
Participation in the after-hours on-call duties is required, with responsibilities shared among consultant staff on a rotating basis.
The role requires active involvement in the department's education, teaching, and research activities, with a focus on developing expertise in a specialised area.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver specialist thoracic medicine services in inpatient, outpatient, and consultative roles, and be flexible to work across the Thoracic Medicine department.
Foster a culture of high-level performance within the service.
Participate in the provision of after-hours on-call.
Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
