About the role: Work within a high-performance, multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and translate radiopharmaceuticals for manufacturing.
This role would be ideal for Chemist working in the environmental industry testing samples for eg NORMs using analytical techniques, wanting to branch out and expand into the radiopharmaceutical industry.
Duties will include: Development, manufacturing, and quality control to support production of clinical and research radiopharmaceuticals.
Provide scientific and technical expertise to support the growth of the Pb-212 separation and solid-phase extraction program and translation into an automated process.
Provide technical expertise to support the growth of drug candidates, from early-stage radiolabelling experiments, automation and GMP-compliant manufacturing.
Lead a small team of research assistants   Skills & experience: Tertiary qualifications in chemistry, nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical, or relevant field Recent and relevant experience with HPLC, ICPMS and HPGe Spectrometry Experience with alpha/beta/gamma emitting radionuclides desirable Demonstrated ability to work productively within a team and as an independent researcher Strong communication and organisational skills   How to Apply: If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now
