Red Dust Holdings (RDH) is a privately owned Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage, and Mining Services operation (est.
in 2010) offering a range of civil and earthmoving solutions to an extensive client base throughout Regional Western Australia.
We service all of regional WA with projects located in Midwest, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt, Pilbara, and Goldfields.
It is an exciting time to be joining RDH, with a busy year forecast for 2025.
We are currently recruiting for supervisors to champion and lead our projects across various regional project locations.
RDH offers our employees long-term sustainable ongoing opportunities with project diversity spanning across:
MRWA - Main Roads WA Detailed ProjectsCivil Bulk Earthworks ProjectsRDH projects range from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector, including tailings dams, airport construction, and major highway upgrades.
RDH tenders projects in the range of $2m to $40m, with expansion into 2025 forecast to see this number grow.
2:1 rosters, FIFO ex Perth or DIDO arrangements for regional points of hire.
(Flexible to discuss with applicant)Varied rosters can be available such as 10:4 for close surround projects outside of Geraldton.Full-time sustainable ongoing employmentHourly rate, paid for every hour workedUp to 12 hours days.
Weekly payroll + superannuation paid on every hour workedJOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Our Site Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring all site activities run smoothly, safely, and according to plan.
Overall, you will champion our projects from planning and execution to quality control and safety compliance.
Manage the quality of the project and any plans, policies, and procedures related to the projectHave input into project costs and program (schedule) to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budgetManage the performance of staff and contractors in accordance with RDH policies and proceduresProvide problem-solving skills and technical input within the scope of the projectContribute to the improvement of WHS and risk management practices within the scope of the projectLiaise with Managers, Project Coordinators/AdministratorsPhysically fit and able to work long hoursSKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES Minimum 3 years supervisory experienceMinimum 5 years Civil Construction ExperienceDemonstrated success in supervising and leading civil teams with clear communication skillsAbility to multitask and problem solve, managing multiple conflicting prioritiesWork closely and respectfully with the client representativeYou should have a full understanding of all safety, environment, and quality regulations, as well as being technologically capable, program savvy, and responsive to the administrative aspects of the job roleExperience across either pavements, bulk & detailed earthworks, drainage, road works, and/or major infrastructure, mining servicesCompetent and ticketed in operating various civil construction plantAbility to develop and maintain strong customer relationsHave a level of QA knowledgeDaily reporting and pre-startsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailSatisfactory pre-employment medicals + drug & alcohol testingEDUCATION, LICENCES AND TRAINING Section 44 / Schedule 26Current Driver's License (HR preferred)Construction industry Blue or White cardWHY WORK FOR RED DUST HOLDINGS Positive rewarding work and safety cultureWeekly payroll + superannuation on all hours workedDirect line to managementA fast-paced but inclusive, involved, and supportive work environmentWell maintained and late model equipmentGenuine recognition within the company as a member of the team and not a numberSimple and strong supporting office systemsAccess to our EAP - Employee Assistance ProgramWe strive for quality work and appreciate our Employees who deliver it We truly look forward to hearing from you and expanding our fantastic team.
