Our opportunity AsPortfolio Manager, you willprovide leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary asset teams to drive a high performing, highly engaged and inclusive work environment.
This role is required to develop and implement asset strategies, maximise income and capital value and deliver high quality services, operational excellence and a customer-centric focus across a complex portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include: Drive strong engagement with key stakeholders (internal and external) to support effective decision making and enable strategic execution, whilst cultivating a customer-centric culture across all aspects of asset managementOversee the preparation and presentation of Strategic Asset Plans for the portfolio, driving the team to successfully execute all deliverables in line with or exceeding agreed strategies and timeframesResponsible for the financial management of assets across the portfolio, leading the teams to deliver detailed income and expenditure budgets and valuations and driving ongoing monitoring, reforecasting, analysis and reporting against budgetAccountable for establishment and delivery of asset strategies across the portfolio, focused on maximising value and alignmentDrive, lead and deliver strategy aligned sustainable and profitable performance of assets within the portfolio through the identification of business initiatives and efficiencies, and assist with subsequent implementationAccountable for the management of the internal and external valuation process in consultation with the relevant stakeholders, and ensuring a full understanding of key metricsDrive collaboration within teams to create and deliver strategic programs that optimise asset positioning and market share, and enhance the customer experience through active marketing, events, activations and capital projectsTake a lead role in managing key lease negotiations within the portfolioAccountable for the delivery of the capital works program for the portfolio, ensuring it meets the strategic direction of the asset(s), is delivered on time and is within budgetWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders on the potential redevelopment, onboarding or offboarding of assets within the portfolio as requiredProvide leadership to inspire and motivate the portfolio teams to develop their collective strengths, skills and knowledge, while fostering high levels of engagement and performanceMonitor and ensure adherence of processes, risk, governance, compliance and corporate responsibility across the portfolioActively contribute to project working groups across the business that deliver tangible outcomes for the divisionWork collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to ensure system/data integrity, efficient information flow and to drive portfolio wide excellence and efficiencies through consistency of approach, reporting and transfer of experiences and learningsMaintain up to date knowledge of current market information and relevant research, including identifying and responding to trends in the marketsChampion the consistent application of the key Mirvac values, leading by example and promoting a high performing and collaborative environmentMaintain industry connections and take a lead in promoting Mirvac in the relevant marketsAssist with any projects or undertake additional duties as requiredYour point of difference 10+ years of experience in property, including development and asset management experienceDemonstrated success in achieving results through effective leadership and stakeholder relationship management at all levels, and by driving a customer-centric strategyDemonstrated strong people management experience, with people being developed and empowered to succeedHighly skilled in asset and fund analysis, with proficiency in forecasting tools including Cougar, MRI and Yardi Experience in the valuation process and a detailed understanding of relevant investment metricsExtensive experience preparing detailed strategic asset plans, complex budgets and comprehensive reportsExperience in major lease negotiations and complex commercial lease structuresProven experience in leading innovation and supporting changeRelevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirableExceptional organisational and resource management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively, ensuring deadlines are achieved on timeAbility to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexityProactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to solve issues as they arise and to improve system and process efficiencies and effectivenessA commitment to quality, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detailExceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skillsAll of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
