UpGuard is used by some of the world's largest, fastest-growing, and most innovative companies.The Marketing team at UpGuard includes multiple marketing and design functions, including Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, Content Marketing, SEO, Community, Design, and Video.
UpGuard's vision is to become a leader in the markets we play in (Cyber VRM, Attack Surface Management) by providing a best-in-class SaaS platform for organizations to manage their third-party risk and external attack surface.

We're looking for a Senior Design Manager who thrives in both individual creative work and team leadership.
This role requires a skilled designer who can independently drive UpGuard's design initiatives while managing a small team.
This role blends hands-on design with leadership, ideal for a candidate who can shape our brand and inspire our existing team. What will you do?Lead the charge in creating and implementing design strategies that elevate our brand, ensuring our visuals are not only top-notch but transformative in the cybersecurity field.Manage a small team of senior designers, foster a collaborative work environment and oversee design projects from concept through completion.Be the mastermind behind exceptional design executions across all platforms—print, digital, web, social, and beyond—making every touchpoint an opportunity to impress.Translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear, compelling visual narratives that resonate with our audience, supporting our marketing and educational efforts.Ideate campaign visuals and execute designs to pixel perfection, managing projects seamlessly from initial concept through to completion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, understanding project impacts and managing time and quality expectations to meet business objectives.What will you bring?A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a brand or agency role, with a portfolio showcasing the ability to deliver high-quality design across various mediums.You bring proven experience in managing design teams, with a track record of balancing hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities.Strong communication skills, with the capacity to set realistic expectations and manage timelines and feedback effectively.Proven ability to design cohesive campaigns that maintain visual consistency across multiple mediums, including print, digital, and social media.Ability to engage with and enhance design systems, maintaining consistency across digital and physical mediums while contributing to the evolution of our brand's visual language.Expert knowledge in industry-standard design software, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)What will give you an edge?Experience in creating engaging web layouts and graphics, enhancing user experience and visual appeal across digital platforms.Prior experience in the SaaS industry, bringing a unique perspective to our design challenges.Proficient in WebflowWhat's in it for you?Monthly Lifestyle subsidy: use this for financial, physical and mental wellbeing (all regions)WFH set-up allowance: to ensure you have the right environment to work in, we will help you get set up within your first 3 months at UpGuard (all regions)$1500 USD annual Learning & Development allowance: to support your career development all team members will be able to expense development opportunities against this allowance (all regions)Generous Annual Leave/PTO allowances: time to recharge your batteries (all regions)18 weeks paid Parental Leave: irrespective of parenting role (all regions)Personal Leave allowance: this includes sick & carer's leave (all regions)Fully remote working environment: whilst we have physical offices in Sydney & Hobart, we do not mandate compulsory attendance (all regions)Top-spec hardware: all team members will be provided with top-spec laptops for their role (all regions)Personal device security & online privacy protection subsidy: UpGuard provides team members with a paid subscription to personal device security & online privacy protection platform (all regions)Generative AI subsidy: UpGuard provides paid subscriptions for all team members to access generative AI tools to support their work (all regions) #J-18808-Ljbffr
