Contract role for a skilled Pentaho Developer
About our client:Our client is a leading name in the financial services industry.
Due to continued expansion in their product offering and associated customer acquisition, they are seeking a Pentaho Developer to join this growing team in order to provide increased visibility to the firm through insightful analytics-based activity.
The Role:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and design scalable solutions that meet business objectives.Develop and maintain ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources into target data warehouses or data lakes.Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and minimal downtime.Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and workflow diagrams, to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing.Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.The Successful candidate:Experience in Pentaho development is essential.Experience working with Microsoft SSIS ETL tools is mandatory.Strong SQL skills are necessary.Domain experience in the financial services industry will be advantageous.What's on offer?$900 + super per day.Hybrid WFH flexibility.State of the art office environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
