The Opportunity BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Branch Manager based in Townsville.
BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product.
The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.
BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
Overseeing our Townsville branch and reporting to the State Manager, you will nurture and grow partnerships with our valued customers across a broad territory.
This role involves leading a cross-functional team in external sales and operations, significantly contributing to our Queensland state business plan.
You will invest time in coaching and motivating your team, enhancing their capabilities to deliver improved outcomes and adopt new ways of working.
In this role, you will receive a competitive remuneration package including a company vehicle and participation in a performance incentive program.
What Will You Do? You'll ensure we can continue to deliver world-class service and product solutions for our customers, now and for the future.
To achieve this, you will:
Inspire and lead the delivery of the branch business plan and budget: continue to develop, implement, and oversee a commercially astute business plan, striving to exceed volume, margin and profit targets.Set business objectives and operating standards: establish and communicate clear objectives and work standards, sharing and celebrating progress.Foster an inclusive high-performing team: coach and motivate your team to ensure high capability, performance and engagement levels.Build meaningful customer relationships: continue to grow collaborative partnerships with our existing customers and identify new business growth opportunities that will strengthen the future of the Townsville business.Achieve optimal safety and operational outcomes: ensure effective processes and procedures are in place to keep our people safe and the site compliant with relevant acts, legislation and business policies.More About You As an experienced leader and strategic thinker with an enthusiasm to see your team succeed, you will bring:
