Disability Support Professional

Job Title: Disability Support WorkerLifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:Mentor and support individuals to develop their personal interests and skillsAssist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, domestic, and social skillsAdminister medication and adhere to individual support plansComplete accurate and concise handover notes and incident reportsProvide personal care, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when requiredSupport individuals to engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activitiesRequirements:Current Australian Driver's License and comprehensive car insuranceCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtainCurrent First Aid Certificate, HLTAID011Minimum 2 doses of Covid-19 VaccinationsFormal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar (advantageous)Experience providing personal care to males, Epilepsy Management, and mental health supports (ideal)What We Offer:Hourly rate based on SCHADS Award 2.1-2.2Team-based structure and inclusive cultureOngoing training and developmentLifestyle Solutions is committed to providing services that are reliable, responsive, flexible, friendly, empathetic, and caring.
