The Role:We are seeking a Permanent Care Manager who is passionate about a person-centred approach to care, to manage the care of residents in our facility in the beautiful Tenterfield.
This role reports directly to the Residential Service Manager and ensures residents receive safe, high-quality care aligned with our client's model and philosophy, the Aged Care Quality Standards, regulatory requirements, and professional practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:Educate, mentor and support care staff to deliver a high level of quality careSupport the admission of new residents including assessments, care planning and reviewsManage complex healthcare including wound care, infection control, pain management, falls and continence issuesConsult with residents, their families, allied health and medical practitionersLead the accurate and timely completion of reporting and documentation in line with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies and proceduresEnsure the facility functions in line with Residential Aged Care quality standards, legislation and best practice guidelinesComplete clinical auditing within the aged care facilitySelection Criteria:At least two years of experience in a care management role in residential aged carePassionate about delivering a person-centred approach to careExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)Ability to work autonomouslyRegistration with AHPRA as a registered nurse is essentialHold and maintain NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)Employment Details:Contract Type: Permanent ContractHours: Full-time; 76 hours per fortnightSalary: $120K to $140K, based on relevant experience and subject to approval + 11.5% Superannuation + NFP salary packagingCome experience the charm, history, and warmth of Tenterfield—it's more than a place; it's an invitation to create your own remarkable story
