We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the team.
The Project Engineer at Parkview is a key project-based role responsible for driving the quality and design standards on the project.
Individuals in this role will manage all elements of the quality management on the projects in addition to managing significant aspects of the design, coordinating drawings from client, consultant and essential sub-contractors including structural, facades, services and internal finishes.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures Identify issues with the project, lead the development and implementation of solutions Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance Review quality of subcontract works on site and liaise with the project team Review and check commissioning and testing in regard to appropriate services description and inclusions Act as facilitator to resolve design and co-ordination issues that arise between client, consultant and subcontract elements Manage the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders Manage the design team to ensure that works proceed in line with the target programme and the design documentation programme Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief Check tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out – where applicable.
Provide technical support and assistance to all members of the project team Skills & experience:
Degree qualified in Construction Management or Civil Engineering Minimum 6+ years' relevant post grad experience within a similar engineering role/s Overall understanding of Quality & Design for structures, services, finishes and facade components Experience working on construction projects in excess of $40M in value Experience working on high-rise residential projects Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors and consultants A proactive, professional with strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach and ability to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds In return for your hard work, we offer an excellent salary package (negotiable based on experience), a strong family culture, stable work and real opportunities for continued growth and development.
