Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) Full time As the HSE Manager at Advanced Cranes and Rigging Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, well-being, incident reporting, and environmental compliance of our operations.
This full-time position is based in Derrimut, Victoria, and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management systems across the organisation.
What you'll be doing Develop, implement, monitor and review policies, procedures, and training programs to promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Conduct risk assessments, site audits, hazard identification, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential risks.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to maintain appropriate certifications and approvals.Induct plant to various major projects across Victoria.Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.Continuously review and improve HSE systems and best practices to drive continuous improvement.Develop and deliver training programs to upskill the workforce on HSE best practices.Manage the safety performance and initiatives and oversee the allocation of resources to meet operational requirements.What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HSE management role, preferably within the construction industry.Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices.Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package.Supportive and collaborative work environment.About us Advanced Cranes and Rigging Pty Ltd is a leading provider of crane and rigging services across Australia.
